Exterior detailing is the outside half of our precision detailing: the paint is cleaned and decontaminated, then machine polished for gloss. It is also the prep that has to happen before ceramic coating or paint protection film. Drop the car off at our Ancaster studio by appointment.

Where an Exterior Detail Spends Its Time
Paint Decontamination
Removes contamination a wash leaves behind, so the paint is smooth to the touch.
Machine Polish
Brings back depth and shine. Deeper defects are a job for paint correction.
Wheels and Lower Panels
The lower half of the car carries the road salt, brake dust and slush spray. Tell us if that is where your car needs the most work.
How It Works
Assess the Paint
We look over every panel with you and confirm what the detail will cover.
Clean and Decontaminate
Loose dirt comes off first, then bonded contamination.
Polish and Hand Back
The paint is machine polished. We call you as soon as it is ready.
Common Questions
What is paint decontamination?
Washing removes loose dirt. Decontamination removes what is bonded to the paint, such as tar, sap and fine metal particles, so the surface feels smooth and is ready for polish or protection.
Is a machine polish included?
A machine polish is part of our precision detailing. If the paint needs deeper work, we will suggest paint correction and quote it separately.
Should I get an exterior detail before ceramic coating?
The paint has to be clean and decontaminated before any coating or film goes on, so prep is part of that work. Ask us and we will explain what your car needs.
Can I wait at the shop?
No. Our shop is a private workspace without a waiting area. Drop the car off and we will call you when it is ready.
